Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?
— MARY OLIVER

Life is beautiful and joyous. It can also be unpredictable and painful.

I am a client-centered, solution-focused CBT therapist. I help my clients build their confidence, coping strategies, and practical life skills. I take an active, hands-on approach to therapy, creating a collaborative and engaging space where you won’t feel like you have to do all the talking.

I am also deeply committed to the science behind what we do. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with other evidence-based interventions drawn from established research.

My approach incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing, and targeted skills training to to help you develop strategies, improve thoughts, regulate emotions, and create better, more stable mental health.

I have a special interest, training and experience in ADHD, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic conditions, and martial/family conflict.

I am trained in Collaborative Assessment & Management of Suicidality (CAMS) for suicide prevention.

I keep my knowledge base and skills current with ongoing training.

My approach is trauma informed with an advanced certification, the Certified Clinical Trauma Professional-II (CCTP-II), and EMDR training.

Coping, empowerment and resilience are skills. They can be learned. You can grow and heal from anything that has happened to you.

I am trained to treat OCD with I-CBT (Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).

I am an ADHD-CCSP (ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider).

I am a C-DBT(Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist).

You can live more authentically, and with more connection.
